Dr. Mark Stubbendieck
As a chiropractor with offices in Medina and Wadsworth, Ohio, Dr. Mark Stubbendieck’s life has been devoted to helping his patients become more comfortable and pain-free.
Originally from Nebraska, he has also lived in Luxembourg, Europe and Massachusetts. He attended The University of Nebraska, where he was a college athlete and the captain of the yell squad. He earned his bachelor’s degree in science at the University of Nebraska and his doctorate of chiropractic (DC) from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, IL.
After his nine years of education, Dr. Stubbendieck began his career as an associate in a Columbus, Ohio practice. He opened his own chiropractic practice in Medina, Ohio in 1995, developing a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. In 2005, Dr. Stubbendieck expanded his practice, opening another chiropractic rehabilitation facility in Wadsworth, Ohio.
He uses a diversified technique, making adjustments to the spine to ease pain, to strengthen and to prevent future injuries. Dr. Stubbendieck partners with a patient’s general practitioner and neurosurgeon to treat the “whole person” with the goal of restoring the patient to an active and pain-free lifestyle.
As a chiropractic physician, he has extensive training in spinal anatomy, spinal biomechanics, diseases of the spine and neurology as it relates to the spine, thus the basis for cooperative care. Care for the full spectrum of spine disorders can be addressed through a cooperative and conservative approach between the chiropractic physician and the neurosurgeon.
Since back pain consistently ranks as one of the top reasons for employee absenteeism and afflicts approximately eight of every ten Americans during their lifetime, Dr. Stubbendieck is dedicated to educating his patients about prevention of injuries.
Dr. Stubbendieck is on the boards of directors of the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Medina County. He is also on the steering committee of the Young Professionals, a member of the Squires Club, Knights of Columbus and is involved with his church. He is actively involved in the coaching and training of his two daughters in all their sports endeavors.
